“California Dreams” is an American sitcom centered on the friendships of a group of teenagers who form a band while living on the glitzy shores of Southern California. The show aired from 1992 to 1996 on NBC’s TNBC Saturday morning lineup, earning syndication in 48 countries! Produced by Peter Engel, known for his work on “Saved by the Bell,” the series shifted toward a multi-ethnic makeup beginning with the show's second season. The series featured 40 original songs performed by the band throughout the sitcom run, primarily written and produced by Steve Tyrell and Barry Coffing.
